“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Monica!!! She was an amazing day-of event coordinator on the day of our wedding and even stayed on to help us with our open house brunch the next day. We had never even met her and made time for two long check-in meetings with me to discuss our wedding planning and then another the day before the big event.
We had a very large wedding with 175 people and there were many details that needed support. Monica met and supported all of our vendors, family friends and greeted guests. She even utilized her catering skills and aesthetic to create a beautiful spread our open house the day after the wedding.
Her attention to detail, ability to be flexible, great questions, thoughtful feedback, and wonderful, sweet personality were things to rave about. Our family was so impressed with her work we will likely hire her for future events. The price of her work did not compare to the quality. I recommend her for any event you are planning. The first time we met with Monica, we loved how friendly and sweet she was, and how she actually listened to what we wanted, and what we were looking for. She seemed genuinely interested in making our day special. We liked Monica right away, but as with everything with the wedding, we weren’t going to rush into anything. With Monica, we had no complaints. We could not have asked for a better caterer. She went above and beyond what one would expect from a caterer, working tirelessly to make everything perfect. She was organized, got back to us promptly, and always let us know her honest opinion when we were unsure of something. The process leading up to the wedding as well as the day of worked swimmingly, as Monica and her staff were all very professional, worked well with all our other vendors, and never forgot any of the special requests we had made (for example having a vegan dish for my brother, and having food set aside for a late night meal). We would recommend Aubergine World Cuisine in a heartbeat to anyone, for any event. Monica, thank you so much for spending so much time, effort, and care on us, and our wedding. People would not still be talking about it if it wasn’t for your excellent food, and help to make all of our tables look beautiful. Thank you!!!!

“My husband and I hired Monica to cater our intimate Big Sur wedding. From the very beginning, Monica was extremely attentive and accommodating. I had some pretty specific requests and she never once said no. I also made changes every week, which also didn’t throw her off. She responded to all of my emails promptly despite me not always reciprocating. On the day of the wedding, my cake had a pretty bad mishap on the trip down to Big Sur in my parents’ vehicle. I have no idea how Monica fixed it but it looked like nothing had ever happened! Keep in mind the Monica did NOT Bake this cake, nor did we have other desserts at our wedding. Somehow, she managed to whip up some frosting that looked identical to the frosting on the cake and she brought it back to life. She seriously saved the day! The food was out of this world. We had a shrimp appetizer that I could NOT stop eating it was sooo good. She made a specific pasta dish that was not on here menu for us and it was perfect! The salmon was cooked perfects and I think the chicken was the best I ever had. The servers she brought along were so nice and they did everything to the point where I didn’t even notice they were there. Choosing Monica as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We don’t live in California but if we did we would use every excuse to have her cater to all of our events!”

You thought of so many details I would have missed. Howard and I both appreciate how you came in and made our buffet beautiful and the service so smooth and seemingly effortless.
